Trip to Titanic Belfast

30th May 2025

30th May 2025

P6 had a brilliant day at Titanic Belfast.  First, we got to look around the SS Nomadic and see some replica furniture and models.  There were lots of interactive puzzles to play on the ship. Back in the Titanic Museum we really enjoyed exploring the different exhibitions. We found out lots about the drawing offices where Titanic was designed, the shipyards where it was built, the voyage and of course what led to the sinking. With lots of images, audio, projections and interactive activities, it really was a fully immersive experience.  The shipyard ride was particularly exciting! Finally, we took part in a workshop with Kaylee who gave us suitcases ‘belonging’ to various passengers on board the ship. We had to work together, to investigate who these people might have been. Of course, we made time to have a browse in the Titanic Store and the children had the chance to do some shopping.  What a memorable day we had! Big thank you to Darcy’s mum Amy for accompanying us.
